PRODUCT CERTIFICATION

In this age of increasing legislation and new guidelines, it comes as no surprise that customers are being asked for certification to back efficacy claims when marketing hygiene products. For this reason Assured Solutions Limited have had several of their more popular products, including A102 and EP06075 tested to EN 13697.

EN 13697 is a hard surface sanitising standard that is often recommended by the F.S.A. for cleaning food preparation areas. We believe it is more relevant than the soil suspension tests that are often performed as it measures performance on a hard surface which closer replicates its mode of application.

Although the standard test only uses four organisms (Psuedomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus hirae), to broaden the relevance to the food industry we have also included Listeria monocytogenes and Salmonella typhimurium.

All tests were conducted under dirty conditions.

Tests have also been conducted on several hand care products including the white pealised soap (EP 09031) and clear green soap (EP 93061) which are now

certified EN 1276.
